School Plans and Reports
Annual Report 2026
The Annual Report provides an opportunity to share the school’s achievements and progress with the school community.
The preparation and publication of an Annual Report is a legislative and regulatory requirement for all schools under the Education and Training Reform Act 2006 (Vic), the Education and Training Reform Regulations (2017) and Ministerial Order 1280 (Constitution of Government School Councils) (DOCX).
The Annual Report is prepared in 2 parts:
- the performance summary, which details the school’s performance from the past year and trends over time. This is compiled by the department and can be downloaded from the performance summary tab of the Annual Report in SPOT
- the ‘About our school’ commentary, which is prepared by the principal and outlines the achievements of the school in the previous year.
Annual Implementation Plan 2026
The AIP operationalises the 4-year School Strategic Plan (SSP).
All schools must prepare an AIP each year which outlines how the school will implement the goals and key improvement strategies (KIS) that will be their focus for improvement in the coming year.
The AIP includes:
- SSP goals, targets and KIS selected for focus that year
- key actions and tasks that will be undertaken to implement the KIS
- the evidence of change that will be observed to measure the impact of the actions and tasks
School Strategic Plan 2024-2028
- Under the Education and Training Reform Act 2006 (Vic) and Ministerial Order 470 all schools must prepare a 4 year School Strategic Plan (SSP) that sets out the school’s:
- philosophy
- goals
- targets to improve student outcomes
- strategies for achieving them.
